Killington Resort is doing a great job with snow making and grooming. There has been consistently good early season skiing.

Our store hours are:

Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 6:30pm

Friday 8:30am - 10:00pm

Saturday 7:30am - 7:00pm

Sunday 7:30am - 6:30pm

Reminder - We are CLOSED Christmas Day. Please plan accordingly.

Killington Resort is open top to bottom. It's been cold and they've been making lot's of snow. Stop in Peak Performance on your way up the hill to get geared up!

We are open 8:30 am - 6 pm daily on weekdays and 7:30am - 6pm weekends right now. We'll be extending our hours as the season progresses. We'll keep you posted.

Take note - we will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day this year. Please plan accordingly.

Killington Mountain officially opens Tuesday, Nov. 2

The Greater Killington Chamber of Commerce and Killington Resort just issued a press release - Killington officially opens for the 2010-11 Skiing and Riding Season, tomorrow November 2 at 10am. Hope to see you on the mountain soon!

Staying cold in Killington - they're blowing snow daily

We've got a consistently cold week in store for Killington. Temps in the 20's at night and 30's and 40's during the day. Killington Resort is blowing snow as much as they can (night and day). Rumor has it the mountain will open this weekend. We'll keep you posted!

New ski apparel and equipment for 2010-11

Have you gotten new skis, boots and ski apparel for the 2010-11 ski season yet? If not, better get on it! As fast as product is coming in it is selling out. We are already sold out of a lot of race product and retail is not far behind.

Snowing in Killington again

It's snowing in Killington again. And not a heavy, wet snow like last week...this is a nice fluffy flurry. Supposed to be cold and snowy through the weekend. We'll be skiing in no time.

Killington Resort is blowing snow

I could see on my drive into the shop this morning that Killington Resort is blowing snow at the peak. Looks like they are blowing Great Northern over towards the Northridge (old Glades area) and 2 trails in the Northridge/Glades area.

Cold week coming in Killington...ski season will be here in no time!

Killington's got a cold week in the forecast. With the 10" - 12" base of natural snow the mountain got this past week, it looks like Killington Resort is planning on maximizing the opportunity and making snow. We'll keep you posted on an opening day as soon as we know!

We've got new product coming and going daily. Hardgoods are all in stock and softgoods as starting to fill in nicely. As far as Race product goes - it's going out the door almost as quick as it's coming in! So get yours while the getting is GOOD! Don't wait til the snow flies.

If you are looking for back country gear...we got it! The Black Diamond order is in - so we've got the new BD Skis, boots, bindings and BD gloves. Get ready for early season skiing before the lifts start to run with an AT/Tele setup. We are open Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm or by appointment, Saturday and Sunday 9am - 5pm.

It's that time of year again...the air is cooler, the leaves are starting to turn, and we are back in the shop! From now until Columbus Day weekend we will be open part-time. Shop hours are:

Saturday / Sunday 9am - 5pm

In general we are "around" during the day, during the week - but please call if you are planning on stopping in so we can make sure we are here (or the person you need to see - boot fitter, Fred, etc. is here). This is a great time of year to get your skis tuned, get your race skis set up or to get your boot fitting done! Hope to see you again soon!

Lange boots and Rossignol race skis are due in July 15. We've got to make room for all the new merchandise so discounted 2009-10 skis are available too!

Peak Performance Ski Shop is still open for online sales and for appointments for ski tuning/boot fitting during the spring and summer months . Killington closed April 25th for the season. Killington Ski Season Over

Killington closed Sunday April 25 . Still a lot of snow on Superstar. After the slow start in Nov this was a great ski season, great snow around Christmas, MLK, and great skiing Feb Vacation. Than the late Feb. 54 inch record setting storm that set up great March and April skiing. Peak Performance will be closed but our internet store is always open . We are still tuning and boot fitting by appointments all spring and summer long.

Killington Resort closing date moved up to April 25, 2010

Killington Resort has announced that they are moving their closing date up to April 25. So now is the time...grab your skis and your sunscreen and come on up for your last few turns of the 2009-2010 season. We will remain open "normal hours" through the weekend - check our website or call for availability after that.

It's a beautiful sunny day in Killington. The mountain's got a fresh coat of snow - from the shop it looks like winter on the mountain. Happy Patriot's Day to all of our Massachusetts friends - hope you are enjoying your day off!

Snowing on the mountain. Skylark, Superstar, Bittersweet are open and groomed. Snow expected throughout the day. We still have demo skis for sale. Email us for more information.

Saturday AM, we got some snow today snow showers again on Sunday . Superstar, Skylark, and Bittersweet are still open. Killington is grooming so it is smooth in the morning and bumps when it softens in the afternoon. Killington Peak is closed but worth the hike for some great skiing or get picked up after skiing Bear Mountain .

Heads up -- Killington will open lifts 9 am Saturday and Sunday.
